  Manjit Deol
Central Britain - 2006 Winner
Business & Commerce Excellence Award
MANJIT DEOL
Managing Director - Claremont
A chance discussion over Sunday lunch with his sister followed by a motivational seminar changed Manjit Deol's life forever.

After spending twenty years working for others he left his job and together with his sister Perm founded the Claremont Group. The focus was and still is to create wealth through property investment. His passion is to source genuine and exclusive property investment opportunities and products and from day one Claremont wanted to be the best.

Claremont now provides the whole property investment package from buying, selling, rental, mortgages and beyond. From a team of just the two the company now employs a team of 14 specialists in the UK and over a dozen agents and a small team overseas to ensure clients get the very best service from start to finish and beyond.

In 2005, Claremont sold 650 properties in the UK and over 250 internationally. In 2005 it signed its single biggest property investment transaction buying 146 apartments at Birmingham's famous Rotunda. 2006 has had an equally successful start buying 75 apartments at the iconic Cube development the second phase of the Mailbox in Birmingham.

Claremont has always believed in investing in developments that it recommends to its clients and over the last few years has been able to build its own portfolio to over 100 properties including properties in Dubai, Spain and Cyprus.

In 2006, it also expanded globally opening offices in Mumbai and Goa in India as it continues to look for new investment opportunities around the globe.

Manjit is also heavily involved in charity work supporting a number of causes ranging from Acorns Children's Hospice to raising funds for children from Chernobyl and raising money for the victims of the Tsunami.
