| Johngir Saddiq is Managing Director and founder of Big John's Group, one of the largest privately owned retailers in the Midlands. Big John's is a fast food concept with a strong chain of 15 sites with a further 10 planned in 2006. A man credited by the food industry for taking the fish & chip and the fast food business to the next level by branding the concept.
He began his career at the age of 16, managing the family "Dawn till Dusk" supermarket business. based in Birmingham. After graduating in 1990 with a honours degree in Economics, he opened his first chip and chip shop. Now at the age of 38 he has expanded the business from supermarkets to fast food, food processing and food manufacturing. He also operates one of the largest catering cash and carry's in the Midlands supplying the food industry.
Finally he also has interests in commercial property and in 2005 co-founded a television channel and recently brought the rights to another channel.
Citing "Clear vision and determination" as the most important criteria for success in business Johngir clearly applies this as his business goes from strength to strength.
