Amar Rashid graduated from the University of Essex in 1988 with a degree in Law. He was the first British Asian to receive a solicitors training contract and qualify as a solicitor at DLA Piper becoming the firms first British Asian partner and national head of the firms bankruptcy team. He acted primarily for banks,finance houses and accountants on a large number of high profile assignments.Three years ago Amar joined Pannone as a partner to further develop the firms insolvency offering and develop a practise based around providing services for young British Asian entrepreneurs. He was also legal advisor to the board of Regen 2000, a social regeneration company set up under SRB 6.
